Dr. Annie Baltazar Mori OTD, OTR/L
licensed pediatric occupational therapist

I have developed a passion for providing high quality occupational therapy with an expertise in sensory integration's influence on participation.

Throughout my career I have had the honor to receive advanced training and extensive mentorship in sensory integration and teach related courses both nationally and internationally with the industry's experts. I was an instructor in the former USC/WPS Advanced Training in Sensory Integration program and currently teach with the CL-ASI Advanced Training Program. I recently served as the American Occupational Therapy Association's Chairperson for the Sensory Integration Special Interest Section where my committee worked tirelessly to ensure Sensory Integration's distinct value to occupational therapy was communicated throughout the organization. I was also an adjunct instructor in the Autism Certificate Program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. As a past director of program development at Pediatric Therapy Network, I have developed evidence based and sound therapy practices. I have applied my experiences in my own clinical practice at playSense in Redondo Beach, CA where our team has developed successful practices for delivering the highest quality programming in occupational therapy highlighting the importance of the experiences in everyday life of both the child and family.

I am committed to serving therapists, dedicated to learning SI, work in a like-minded community where we all grow from supporting each other strive to best support our clients

F.A.Q.

+ Is this community for me?

If you are interested in learning more about sensory integration, have or are currently in advanced training in sensory integration, this community is for you. The ASI mentoring community aims to support therapists that
— work alone or are the only SI trained therapist on staff
— want connection and community with experts and like minded therapists in SI
— have found their calling and passion with SI and want to immerse themselves in this theory
— want to build skills for thoughtful and thorough therapy
— are limited in therapeutic supervision at your worksite

+ Is there a contract?

Nope. We are committed to you for as long as your are in our program. Your membership autorenews every month or year (depending on your choice). If you decide to take a break, you can join again at the current offered price. Life brings ups and downs that will change your need for our community. We will be here when you need us.

+ What is your refund policy?

If you cancel during a billing cycle, your program ends on that day and you are not refunded any amount for that month.

+ Can I receive Contact Hours towards professional development?

We are happy to work with you to document your mentorship to meet your state's or country's specific requirements for obtaining hours toward professional development.

+ How will this membership help me?

Therapy is a practice and each client is different. We need ongoing connections with like-minded therapists to cross check our clinical reasoning, make sure we are on the right track, stay connected with current evidence and just to get new ideas. Through bi-monthly open house and case study calls, access to resources, regular communication with an ASI expert, and online community, ASI mentoring aims to keep us all up to date and uncovering those “ah-ha” and energizing moments you get when brainstorming with colleagues.

+ What content will be covered?

I’ve been taking note of the questions asked when I am at speaking engagements, in one on one mentoring, with each new mentoring group and from my own clinical staff. From these discussions I have crafted some topics we will be diving into during this program:

  • Opportunities to share and review your own client cases
  • Assessing the challenging client
  • Assessment in ASI
  • Fidelity to ASI
  • Treatment planning and delivery
  • Evaluation and treatment of a child with autism
  • Clinical observations of play in ASI
  • Linking participation and ASI
  • Applying ASI in the schools, community and home
  • Research reviews
  • Communicating a child’s needs in reports and with parents and funders
